Looks are used to stylize your photos, similar to presets.
There are two key differences:
- Looks created by ON1 do not adjust the Basics pane options in Lightroom by default, so they do not over-ride tone and color changes you make, manually or with Lightpanel's Auto Tone & Color options. Many of the available presets on the open market make changes to these controls, which require you to manually re-adjust them.
- Looks adapt from photo to photo. They are trained on a broad range of photos so that the look can be adjusted to look good while maintaining a consistency of appearance when applied to a group of photos or an entire job.
Applying Looks
| Applying a Look couldn't be easier. Just click on a Look in the Looks pane, and your photo in Lightroom will update instantly. If you don't like the results, you can use the Undo command to remove it or click on another Look to switch. |
