Downloading Lightpanel
Before you install Lightpanel, you will need to download the installer for your operating system. You can find the latest installer in your account dashboard.
Installing Lightpanel
To install Lightpanel, double-click on the installer once you have downloaded it. It will guide you through the process. Existing installations of Lightpanel and Adobe Lightroom Classic need to be quit before running the installer.
Trying Lightpanel Before You Purchase
You can give Lightpanel a test drive for seven days. Select a subscription option and enter your credit card information. You will not be billed for seven days. You can cancel your subscription at any time during the first seven days and you won't be billed.
Signing-In
When you launch Lightpanel the first time, it will prompt you to sign-in with your email address you used when you purchased your subscription. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it here.
Updates
When Lightpanel launches, it will communicate with our update servers and will check for any updates. Some updates are installed in the background, while others may download an installer package that will relaunch Lightpanel when complete.
Signing-Out
If you need to sign-out of Lightpanel, for example you have changed your email address on your subscription, you can use the Sign-out option in the Help menu in Lightpanel.
Uninstalling Lightpanel
Windows
- Quit Lightpanel and Lightroom.
- From the start menu type in add and select Add or Remove Programs.
- From the list, select Lightpanel and Uninstall.
*Note if you're having difficulties uninstalling from the Windows Control Panel
Goto C:/Program Files/ON1/Lightpanel: (And double-click on the MaintanenceTool.exe
to run the uninstaller.
macOS
- Navigate to you Applications folder on your boot volume
- Navigate to the Lightpanel subfolder
- Double-click on MaintenanceTool
